Many of you know very little about me and I think you need to know several things. I have been living in an Assisted Living home since October 2020. I have Parkinsons, I believe I noticed the first symptoms in 2008, dragging my right foot and not swinging my right arm when walking. It was diagnosed in 2013 but I still continued living at home until I could no longer live safely by myself and decided to make the change. I was ready, legally and financially. But with Parkinsons, I have no control over the progression of the disease. I can get around well using a walker, I can feed myself, need help getting out of bed and getting dressed, nothing that is life threatening. The thing I struggle the most with is control of my hands, especially when operating my computer keyboard to work on my website. Some days I struggle with it, making mistakes that I have to try to correct, putting me further behind where I started. I am greatly stressed out when I can't get any work done on my website, and this stress is messing with my mind, sometimes my mind just momentarily locks up and I forget why I am sitting in front of a computer! Yes, I don't need this kind of stress. So on March 15, 2026 will be the last update of www.talking-bear.com. I'll probably leave it on the Internet until the end of March 2026 so you all can download the flyers that interest you.
